Services I Offer

This can be a "walk and talk" - a one-off session for ideas and advice geared to providing information and inspiration for you to then continue with your own design, or this may be an initial consultation where I gather information to help me in creating a concept plan or a full design.

So we can make the most of our time together, before we meet on site I will send you a short list of questions to have a think about. 

After our initial 2-hour consultation, if you choose, I can go on to create a drafted concept plan, designed in collaboration with your ideas through working together on a design brief,  that includes the following

• Site Plan with brief site analysis

• Locations of hardscaping such as paths and structures

• Planting plan 

• Full plant list

Typically, I will spend a few more hours back on site during the creation of the plan, discussing possibilities to achieve the best outcome for you.

The concept plan and planting plan will both be drafted on AutoCAD and provided to you in A3 size as a hard copy and also sent as a PDF.  The plant list will also be sent as a PDF and given as a hard copy.

My full design service can be an add-on after you have received a concept and planting plan, or you may choose a full design service from the start. In addition to what is included in the concept plan, a full design may include some or all of the following as needed (discussed together before commencement)

• Advice on planting such as where to source plants, what size to buy, costing estimates etc

• A hardscaping plan with details such as paths, retaining walls, structures with measurements, materials etc. (I can offer construction details also but as suggestions only as actual construction is decided on, and the responsibility of, the person engaged to install the structure and may require permits, engineering etc. which I do not provide).

• Advice on where to source hardscaping materials such as gravel, soil, mulch including consideration for your ethical position regarding inputs if desired.

• Approximate costings for hardscaping

• Watering plan with details and advice on where to source components

• Staged works plan for when time and/or money become available
